Terrific shore dive in Seattle. Tons of huge lingcod, bass, cabezons. Good sized wreck at south of the underwater park. Explored the tubes, propellor, and the wreck. Didn't go north around the rock jetty, that'll be for another time, but plenty to see south of it. Great place - can't wait to come back. Next time - add a couple pounds because relatively shallow.

Easy dive, but very disappointed that captain refused to go out for the planned second dive due to 'choppy conditions'. The conditions were actually fine. On first dive, saw: lingcod eggs, dungeoness crab, rockfish, big starfish.

Large wolf eel!! What an incredible creature. Used pony bottle. Several dives with Bandito Charters out of Tacoma. Good operation. Felt sorry for the people in wetsuits.

Great turnout for the "Beach'N". Friday was an xc day for the hangs with some racking up over 100 miles under cold, dark clouds. Saturday and Sunday provided soarable conditions on the Butte and decent spot-landing conditions in the soccer field. Big thanks to Lori Lawson and her team for organizing the events, the Cinco de Mayo dinner and the great prizes! Donations made a dent in the almost $3000 yearly cost of maintaining the Chelan Butte flying site.
