Warm, good visibility, but too shallow :( Didn't see a lot of interesting stuff - maybe more vibrant in the winter? Creatures: big green-camouflage lingcod, fat lobsters, fat garibaldi. See freedraw for route. |

Sheep crab, several small lobster, one of which beat up Schaffer!! Lots of nudibranchs. Ankles kept floating up - that's what happens when you don't dive in 8 months. |

2 morning dives - Terrific - among the best at this site. Growth has really picked up on the wreck with 15' kelp streaming from the hull around the mid-section. Huge schools of small juvenile rockfish, crab, black sea nettle. Penetrated into the engine room, where saw police tape from a diver who drowned here 3 weeks before. NOTE: engine room entrance is cutout 4S4. LATER NOTE: The diver who drowned here was Steve Donathan, in the boiler room which is accessed via a hatch north of the engine room. |

Cabezon Cruiser. Good vis, especially in shallows above canyon. Octopus in hole, a tiny crab, cabezons. |

Two dives on the Yukon with Schaff & Squirrel. First dive a little less organized than second. Nice dives. First dive did long swim through interior passageway at 70' depth. |
