Stayed here for a week. The casino is quite fun, and the hotels rooms are very nice. One of the nicer places in Vegas, but not personal favorite. A little too fancy.

DeLuca's Pizzeria

Experience

Ordered a large pizza but order got messed up. Ended up having meat on it (and I'm a vegetarian). Went back and got a new pizza for no charge. They only charged me $8.50 (about half price) for the first pizza...for some reason. So all in all, it was a pretty good deal and I can give a free pizza to a meat-eating friend!

Went to the lumberjack for breakfast this morning. Their Nutty Belgian Waffles have Walnuts in them. Pretty tasty.

DoubleTree

Experience

Golfed at the DoubleTree with co-workers as part of a work off-site. I was 8 months pregnant! (Shhh...don't tell my doctor! The baby is fine by the way. :)) Played 9-Holes and though my balance was WAY off, it was nice to get out on the links!

Who ever heard of a dry casino? Nice looking place, but prefer Viejas.

Red Rocks Amphitheater

Saw Tool play at Red Rocks - one of the best shows I've been to. The acoustics are great, the lighting had terrific effects on the huge natural rock walls, and, of course, Tool rocked.
