divers from nearby states come here to do their open water certification or refresh their skills. It's an artesian well, 90ft deep, 80 ft diameter, sandy bottom. constant temp. of 61. got to dress 7 mil, hood and all other extras. visibility progressively worse as day goes on from 80 to 15 ft. Fun atmosphere around the well especially during week-end when many dive classes take place. We went in Nnovember when snow was on the ground. So cold! should go in summer when one can warm up from the frigid water. |

The Blue Hole! First freshwater dive, in prep. for Mom getting acclimated for La Paz. 4 dives on Saturday. Last dive was a night dive with Dad. He loved it, and the Blue Hole was fantastic at night. Good experience for Mom too. |
