Slippery and you can get lost. At the end of 2 miles one arrives at the Morning Glory Natural Bridge, 243ft arch, 6th longest in the States. Interesting wonder of nature, created by water and wind.Sandstone.We slept 2 nights in a B&B,owners a belgian couple. From there we continued on Rte 163 South passing some great landscapes: ate in Bluff, and especially Monument Valley arriving from East is momentous |

Activity: Biking State: Utah City: Moab Slickrock April, 2007 |
Experience Repeatability |
Mountain biking Moab's slickrock: Great mountain biking for all levels of riders including first timers. Riding on slickrock is like nothing else. The traction is amazing (when dry) and enables you to climb and descend ridiculous grades. The scenery is also top shelf and Arches and Canyonlands National Parks are great post-ride endeavours. |
