Near Yanutha Island, off Beqa, Fiji. Strong current through swim-through. Vis mediocre. Fun anyways. Saw large lobster in coral head. Actually just saw it's head and large feelers. 2 knot current. |

Lots of swim-throughs. We did 10 of 13 total on the site. As with all swim through sites, either 1) Be one of first to go through, or 2) Wait until the sand settles down. |

Great Astrolabe Reef! Strong current. Lots of surge at the safety stop. The wall is very impressive; an advanced dive. Note: the surface interval was interesting - complete with very effeminate Fijian serving fruit cocktails on the beach. |

Wall dive, started out really nice. Mom dropped weight pocket early in dive, which I retrieved, but it truncated the bulk of the dive; at least cut out middle part. Towards end, Mom + I do 15 minute dive in shallows where others are in safety stop. Very nice corals + fish life around 20' up. |
